Gold, laid by hand in Auroville
A leaf of gold is beaten until it is thinner than paper, laid between two panes of glass, and fired until the glass closes around it. What comes out cannot be made twice the same way. We have been doing it in Auroville for years, alongside the Mother’s Symbol in gold and a small run of watches whose dials come from the same workshop.
